Uttarakhand is blessed with all that a flourishing entertainment industry needs. It has abundant natural beauty with the backdrop of majestic Himalayas. Many glacier feed rivers. There are several ancient shrines, temples and places of historic importance. It has plenty of breath taking locations, excellent communication network and modern means of transportation. More important, Uttarakhand has a very supportive government, peace-loving local population and easily accessible skilled manpower. The entertainment and media industry in the country is full of talent flowing out from Uttarakhand. Despite all these resources at its disposal very little has actually happened in Uttarakhand in this field of cinema or entertainment software production. It has not really developed as an industry.
But all this is just about to change with Shree Anmol Production entering in the fray. This Mumbai based entertainment company has been founded by Shri Madhavanand Bhatt, a highly successful real estate developer of Uttarakhand origin. "My dream is to put Uttarakhand on the world entertainment and cinema map." says Mr. Bhatt.
Shree Anmol Production has prepared a strategic roadmap to meet its near-term and long-term goals.
The strategy is three fold:
- Produce quality films and other related software.
- Setup a complete studio in Uttarakhand where producers walk-in with concepts/scripts and walk-out with the finished products.
- Start a 24-hour satellite channel that caters to resident and non-resident Uttarakhandis.
The maiden venture, a full length feature film is ready for release.
